Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to check out FreshScoop! My name is Michael, and along with my good friend and partner Liam, we run this business together. We’re both in high school and huge dog lovers. We’ve always loved being around dogs and wanted to find a way to make a difference in our community. That’s how FreshScoop was born—our very own local dog poop pickup service! We’re proud to be helping families enjoy their yards again, without the mess.
We started FreshScoop because we saw a need for clean, healthy yards in our neighborhood, and we knew we could help. Our mission is simple: give pet owners one less thing to worry about while making sure their dogs have a safe and poop-free space to play. We’re reliable, responsible, and we truly care about doing a great job every single time.
Here’s how it works: we offer four different service options—you can choose One-Time cleanups, weekly, bi-weekly, or even twice-a-week visits, depending on what fits your needs best. Our plans start as low as $60 a month, making it affordable to keep your yard clean all year round. We’ll always send a heads-up text about an hour before we arrive so you’re never caught off guard. Once we get there, we work quickly and carefully. We double-bag all waste, place it neatly into your trash can, and even spray down our shoes after every visit. That way, we’re not tracking any germs from one yard to another. We take safety seriously—for your yard, your dog, and your family.

❓ What types of cleanups do you offer?
We currently offer weekly, biweekly, twice a week, and one-time cleanups to fit your needs!
❓ Do I need to be home during service?
Nope! As long as we have access to your yard, you don’t need to be home. We’ll text you an hour before we arrive.
❓ What do you do with the waste?
Because we’re a small operation, we currently don’t have a separate disposal site. We double bag the waste and gently place it into your outdoor trash can using scented bags to keep things pleasant. If you prefer unscented bags, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate! We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
❓ How do I pay?
We bill once a month. Payment can be sent through Venmo, Cash-App cash, or other agreed methods, and we’ll remind you at the end of each month.
❓ What if my yard hasn’t been cleaned in a while?
No problem at all! We’re happy to handle yards that need a little extra love, and there’s no extra fee for larger cleanups.
❓ Do you clean year-round?
Yes, we scoop in all seasons! The only exceptions are during extreme weather when safety or conditions don’t allow us to access the yard. Also, severe snow or extreme weather, we may not be as precise and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
❓ Are you insured or licensed?
We’re a small, student-run local business and currently not licensed or insured, but we’re professional, reliable, and take great pride in our work.
❓ What areas do you service?
We proudly serve the Howell area. If you’re unsure if we cover your location, just reach out!
❓ Are you okay with aggressive or nervous dogs?
Safety first! If your dog is in the yard during service, please let us know. We’re dog lovers, but may ask for dogs to be brought inside if needed.
